Raggi is a restorative and aesthetic dentist based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire; with a growing reputation for carrying out comprehensive multi-disciplinary dentistry, management of the compromised dentition, and treating those with severe dental anxiety.

He posts regularly on Instagram and his YouTube/TikTok channels, YourDentistSays, where he showcases some of his clinical work and also seeks to raise awareness on key oral health topics.

His postgraduate journey has focussed on becoming a solid generalist able to handle most situations in dentistry and to be able to co-ordinate holistic full mouth treatment planning with a team of specialists as the principal/lead dentist. His own clinical interests include advanced restorative dentistry (crowns, bridges, veneers, precision dentures, dental implants), aesthetic dentistry (clear aligner therapy, composite bonding, tooth whitening) and facial aesthetics. Within the dental industry, he’s an active member of numerous international dental forums; some of which he administers including Itero Buddies and Foundation Dentists; where he seeks to share some of his protocols and learnings with other dentists.

Tanvi is a dentist with a special interest in Endodontics (root canal treatment) and conservative dentistry (direct and indirect restorations).

She graduated from Christian Medical College in 2018 and went on to complete an MDS in Endodontics; achieving the gold medal in her year. This was followed by the ORE Statutory exams to work in the UK; which she passed on first attempt.

She has been on maternity leave, but remains actively involved in the Operations side of Sheffield Smiles; having also completed NEBDN training in dental nursing,  thus enabling her to quality assure our dental nursing team.

Tanvi is making a phased return to clinical dentistry in 2025. She has a gentle chair-side manner to put even the most anxious patients at ease and takes pride in offering pain free dentistry.

Aside from her clinical work, Tanvi also acts as a mentor to other overseas dentists seeking to pass the ORE examinations and will be launching her own courses in our academy to help formalise this.

Michael qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2013 and quickly understood how important periodontal health was for his patients.

In 2017 he completed the Periodontics Course at the Royal College of Surgeons, London. In the same year he joined the British Society of Periodontology. Michael obtained a solid foundation for his career and worked in the NHS for 8 years before moving fully to private practice

In that time, he was an Educational Supervisor to 4 newly-qualified dentists in the Sheffield region. Michael wishes to constantly widen his understanding of gum disease and completed his MSc in Periodontology at the Eastman Dental Institute, UCL in 2023.

Michael offers a wide range of periodontal treatments including surgery and is happy to accept referrals from dentists, therapists, and hygienists. He also has a keen interest in supporting dentists who place implants to improve and maintain patients’ peri-implant health.

Michael is a big believer that healthy gums leads to a healthy body (and vice-versa). He strives to treat all his patients with a holistic approach. He regularly works alongside other health care professionals to achieve the best results possible for his patients.

He sees himself as a great communicator and strives to motivate his patients to the highest level. Michael offers a wide range of periodontal treatments including surgery and is happy to accept referrals from dentists, therapists and hygienists.

Claire Berry has over 15 years experience as a registered Dental Hygienist and Oral Health Expert. She is a multi award-winning Dental Hygienist, receiving numerous industry awards throughout her career, such as the Private Dentistry Awards and Oral Health Awards.​ Her portfolio of articles about dentistry and oral health have been published in both industry and consumer press, as well as well-known consumer publications such as The Evening Standard, The Daily Telegraph, Bridal Magazine and PBL. She also sits on the editorial board for FMC's Clinical Dentistry magazine. She lectures across the UK for the mentioned companies and she speaks at global events alongside blogging and writing for other global companies. Claire Berry co-founded the Contemporary Hygienist, a nationwide study club for contemporary clinicians across the UK. The team travel throughout the UK to provide support to colleagues in their profession, as well as providing online support and CPD training for their members. She runs this with the infamous Faye Donald, a well known Hygienist in the dental industry. ​With a particular interest in systemic health and oral health links, Claire wants to spread awareness in her industry as well as to the public, about the effects that issues such as diabetes and menopause have on oral health. Claire co-hosts a Women's Health Roadshow which will take place across the UK in 2025 titled 'Women's Health - from Cradle to the Grave'.

Dr Shaheer graduated from the University of Mysore, India in 2000. His interest has always been in Endodontology and in 2005 he gained a Clinical Masters (MSc) in Endodontics from the University of Manchester. In 2007, he added to his qualifications by gaining the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS), from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr Shaheer has worked in both NHS and private practices in the UK accepting endodontic referrals since 2005. His desire for self development in endodontics has lead him to complete MClinDent in Endodontics from London.

He has worked in the Department of Restorative Dentistry in Aberdeen, Dundee and Glasgow Dental Hospitals gaining extensive experience in Restorative and Endodontic clinics, working on patients referred in from General Dental Practitioners, cases deemed too difficult for general practice. During this time he developed his surgical endodontic skills and was required to work in a multi-disciplinary approach with other key hospital operators and consultants. He provides endodontic care utilising the operating microscope and microsurgical instruments. He has publications in international journals and his special interest lies in effective rehabilitation of severely broken down teeth.

Dr Shaheer is a passionate teacher and provides courses for dentists on contemporary endodontic techniques. He has lectured around the world and conducted numerous hands on endodontic courses and workshops for young budding dentists. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, British Dental Association, British Endodontic Society and European Society of Endodontology.

Dr. Nigel Hargreaves has been a distinguished figure in dentistry since qualifying from Sheffield University in 1988, earning the prestigious KaVo prize in oral surgery. He further honed his expertise with advanced restorative dentistry training in 1999 and a Master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry from Leeds Dental Institute in 2005. With a career spanning over three decades, Nigel has dedicated himself to private prosthodontic practice since 1995. He has received extensive training in Implantology, Cosmetic, and Restorative Dentistry from globally renowned clinicians.

Nigel’s early career saw him working in a leading referral practice in Manchester. He later established his own referral practice in West Yorkshire, where he offers comprehensive dental implant treatments, both surgical and restorative, along with prosthetic, prosthodontic, and cosmetic dental services. His passion lies in enhancing smiles and restoring function through veneers, crowns, natural teeth, and dental implants. An expert in full arch dental implant reconstructions, Nigel employs immediate loading techniques such as “same-day-teeth,” “teeth-in-a-day,” and “all-on-4.” These methods enable him to replace dental implants and fit full-arch fixed bridges in a single day, eliminating the need for dentures. Nigel has been an esteemed educator and lecturer since 2003, sharing his knowledge nationally and internationally.

In 2008, he founded his teaching academy, offering a range of courses in restorative dentistry and dental implantology, from single-day sessions to 12-month modular programs. His courses cover Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry, Oral Surgery, and Dental Implantology. A respected member of The British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The International Team for Implantology, The Association of Dental Implantologists UK, The International College of Prosthodontists, The British Association of Private Dentists, and The British Dental Association, Nigel remains at the forefront of his field. Outside of his professional life, Nigel enjoys long walks in the countryside with his wife Donna and their cockapoo, Freddy. He is also an avid ultra-runner, participating in trail races ranging from 50km to 100 miles.

Levs graduated in 2003 as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in Latvia.

Levs' special interest is restorative and implant dentistry. He has  a Post Graduate Certificate from The British Academy of Implant & Restorative Dentistry(Leeds), PG Dip Advanced Implant Dentistry Vita-Salute San Raffaele University (Milan), PG Certificate in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry UCL Eastman (London).

Levs lectures nationally and internationally on digital implant dentistry. He is a KOL for Anthogyr implants and mentors other implant dentist nationwide; as well as being an accredited BAIRD mentor both in the UK and abroad.

Levs speaks English, Russian and Latvian.

Drew Winstanley was born in Lancashire, and went to school in Bolton, before making the trip across the Pennines to study dentistry at the University of Sheffield, where he’s been ever since. He graduated with honours from Sheffield Dental School in 2018. He then went on to complete a postgraduate diploma in aesthetic and restorative dentistry.

Drew now works in private practice thanks to the high level of training that he has received from some of the country’s leading clinicians, particularly in implant dentistry.

Replacing missing teeth with dental implants to help restore patient’s confidence to smile is Drew’s passion. The ethos of his practise is to understand the story behind each individual patient that walks through the door, what has brought them there and how he can help. He prides himself on his friendly, honest approach and the enthusiasm he brings to each and every appointment.

Dr Macik is a Consultant Anaesthetist who has vast experience in Orthopaedic anaesthesia, which he has since translated into Implant Dentistry.

Alizey is presently an Oral Surgery Registrar with a broad experience and knowledge in Oral Surgery having worked across numerous sites, including King's College Hospital London, Sheffield Teaching hospitals, Leeds Dental Institute and Huddersfield and Bradford Teaching Hospitals. She works as a clinical teacher at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital and enjoys teaching both undergraduate and post graduate dentists and dental students.

She is known for her warm and empathetic personality and chair side manner. She particularly enjoys treating anxious patients and offers sedation as well. She enjoys difficult extractions as well as soft tissue treatments, alongside treating benign lesions of the jaws.

Fern is both a dental nurse and part of our management team.

Outside of nursing, Fern is passionate about horse riding and is an animal lover. She also enjoys travelling and keeping fit.

Seren is both a dental nurse and part of our treatment co-ordinator team, looking after existing and prospective clients.

Outside of dentistry, Seren is a massive Sheffield Wednesday fan and can regularly be found at home and away matches.

Mollie has joined us as an apprentice dental nurse and taken into her role with ease, having come from a hospitality background.

Outside of work, Molly enjoys keeping fit and leading an active social life.
